It happened nine years ago. My cousin from New delhi visited us with her husband and two daughters. The children it seems have never seen a cow. The eldest daughter Niveditha who was in nineth grade asked me naively "Uncle I know cow gives milk (keeping both the rosy palms together as though someth9ng is pouring out of that) From which part it gives milk?"
I had several cows in my farm I took her to Meera, a seven year old cow then with golden yellow coat, ,very docile,dark brownish yellow hair falling exactly in the middle of her forehead which I used to comb everyday after applying cocoanut oil. I took Niveditha near Meera and asked her to milk herself after explaining how to do it.
While milking sometimes the milk from the teat hit Niveditha's eyes,mouth and chin. She very much enjoyed the experience.
